The Financial Crime Lifecycle Management (FCLM) tribe offers an exciting opportunity to make a severe impact on the Financial Crime Prevention and Investigation space in Danske Bank. We are approx. 100 engaged colleagues located in 3 different countries. Currently, we are looking for Solution Architects in our Architect team that is contributing to our squads and tribe.

As a member of the tribe, you’ll collaborate with both the IT and business-savvy squad and Tribe members in realizing our Target Architecture. We are currently innovating how we will review, screen, and monitor for Financial Crime behaviour. Hence, you’ll get the opportunity to strongly impact how we consistently provide IT systems that efficiently and effectively can prevent criminals from succeeding in performing Money Laundry and Fraud activities.

We are looking for a skilled Solution Architect who is enthusiastic and eager to bring our Financial Crime Prevention platform into the next level based on a Micro-service and Micro-frontend architecture that further is orchestrated / choreographed by Business Process definitions executed by a Camunda as Business Process Automation (BPA) Engine.

You will work across agile teams and collaborate with the Tribe Architects and Chapter Leads in propelling tribe-wide modernisation. You will contribute actively to defining, maintaining, and communicating the Transition Architectures that will act as steppingstones towards realization of our Target Architecture.

Mission

  • Promote technical modernization initiatives in collaboration with Tribe Architects
  • Evaluate the impact of design decisions on solution level and ensure architecture compliance with tribe and enterprise architecture standards and guidelines
  • Ensure architecture/solutions adherence with Danske Bank enterprise architecture standards, security policies, Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), and compliance requirement from audit and regulators
  • Support solution design by actively engaging, providing feedback on designs, and facilitating knowledge sharing across tribes and squads
  • Act as a sparring partner for the software development engineers in the squads
  • Ingest, advocate, and refine best practices for Financial Crime Prevention
  • Take an active part of the Tribe and Squad planning – becoming a trusted advisor to Cluster Leads and Product Owners in the planning events

Skills

We see you as someone who can “think big” and strategically as well as implement “small” and incrementally to be able to realise the Target Architecture in an intelligent and cost-efficient way. You are a self-starter with a growth mindset, who can quickly absorb new information and deal with ambiguity.

In addition, you have:

  • Proven experience working as a Solution Architect
  • Good understanding of Micro-services and Event-driven architectures, Design patterns, Distributed systems, Domain-Driven Design approach, good technical skills in cloud-native development (preferably AWS), including hands-on experience
  • Ability and experience in architecting and delivering 24/7 highly critical and distributed systems
  • Experience in defining, documenting, and communicating architecture/solutions to a wide audience including both IT savvy and Business centric colleagues
  • Knowledge and experience with Architectural Design and Modelling using modelling languages like ArchiMate, BPMN, DMN and UML
  • Insights and knowledge about all major development technologies, such that you easily can debate and discuss implementation details with the Software development engineers within the Tribe/Squads
  • Experience working in an Agile framework setup
  • Solid methodical and problem-solving skills
  • Upper-Intermediate English language skills

We will ensure that exact salary offered for you will be based on your qualifications, competencies, professional experience and requirements for the corresponding job function (salary range from 4880 EUR to 7320 EUR gross EUR/monthly).

Your title in job contract will be IT Software Architect.
