SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER (BATTERY STORAGE CATEGORY) (F/M/D) | IGNITIS RENEWABLES

We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the Supply Chain department of the Ignitis Renewables team, where you’ll be responsible for the entire category management team and strategic decisions by providing market, product, competitor and customer insights, while helping enable growth and projects decisions. Your key areas of responsibilities will be:
- Managing BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) supply chain and cost intelligence for Energy Storage
- Monitoring Energy Storage supply market's technology, innovation, and cost trends, and reporting market intelligence and regulatory updates
- Collaborating with suppliers of batteries, EPCs (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction firms), and Project Managers colleagues in the regions to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery of Battery Storage and Hybrid projects
- Leveraging and managing major supplier relationships to improve commercial and service delivery
- Identifying supplier development and improvement opportunities and proposing business cases for implementation
- Planning and executing tendering projects or portfolios of projects in alignment with relevant stakeholders such as Project Managers, engineering teams, and asset management
- Working with the legal department to negotiate Energy Storage supply contracts with BESS suppliers
- Demonstrating willingness to travel as needed.
We expect that You:
- Have a degree in (Supply Chain) Management, Legal, Logistics, Engineering or similar field
- Have a track record of 5 years working in the supply chain/ category management
- Experienced in negotiations, creating solutions and delivering value for the business
- Demonstrate understanding of the commercial contract management technique and procurement process
- Experience working on supply chain matters, risk and category management; strategy, cost modules, benchmarking
- Manufacturing process knowledge, have exposure to different manufacturing process to understand key contributor and cost drivers
- Knowledge of procurement process and current supply chain challenges
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, and customers.

Salary range for this position group is 3124 to 4686 EUR (before taxes). The final offer depends on experience and competence. Variable part of remuneration may be paid depending on results.
