We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the Engineering Office of the Ignitis Renewables team, where you’ll be overseeing and managing engineering activities related to onshore projects. This position will encompass leading a team of engineers, coordinating with various stakeholders, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and driving the successful execution of onshore engineering projects. You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:
- Establishing and managing structures and processes for the Electrical Engineering team, including documentation check and approval procedures (e.g., specifications, diagrams)
- Leading and managing an international team of Electrical and I&C Engineers, overseeing team workload, resource allocation, and training plans
- Introducing processes to standardise outputs and streamline work (incl. simplification of engineering works, digitalization, machine learning / AI, etc.)
- Serving as the primary point of contact in meetings with electrical contractors, grid connection requirements providers (TSO and DSO)
- Providing technical guidance and expertise within the engineering function with primary focus but not limited to technical specifications, design solutions, equipment offered by contractors, factory drawings, documentation, testing procedures
- Together with a team providing supervision to a factory acceptance tests, installation, pre-commissioning, site acceptance tests, and grid code acceptance tests
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery processes, methodologies, tools, and techniques.
Required for this position:
- Bachelor or higher degree in electrical or automation engineering
- 5 years of experience in electrical engineering and/or electrical automation engineering
- Proven track record in leading multidisciplinary engineering teams, providing technical guidance, and fostering a collaborative work environment
- Experience in design/testing/planning/maintenance activities of renewable or conventional power plants and electrical substations
- Extensive knowledge in low / medium / high voltage electrical equipment (such as substations and power plants), control system engineering (including data acquisition controllers (PLC, RTU)), and relay protection engineering
- Good knowledge of English language
- Demonstrated a 'can do' attitude and ability to problem solve within a complex matrix organization.

Salary range for this position group is 5116 to 7674 EUR (before taxes). The final offer depends on experience and competence. Variable part of remuneration may be paid depending on results.
