Danske Bank has an exciting opportunity for you to join our Linux and Container Orchestration services team, which has end-to-end ownership of Linux and container-based services in both private and public clouds. We are the team behind 10,000+ Linux machines and the first production OpenShift clusters in the financial Nordics, running 50,000+ containers. But we’re not stopping there. The most significant journey is still ahead: the expansion of our infrastructure to the public cloud.

Mission
- Play a crucial role in designing, deploying and supporting new Container Orchestration offering in AWS – EKS
- Design and build EKS automation and integration with the help of existing services with security in mind
- Leverage your expertise to provide guidance to our infrastructure teams, users, and developers, and mentor your team members
- Own services, serving as its main point of contact for our user community
- Work closely with service stakeholders and service users to collect demands and feedback
- Play a critical role in automating infrastructure processes, ensuring more efficient operations and freeing up team resources for innovation and strategic tasks
- Implement forward new ideas and strategies to keep our infrastructure at the forefront of the industry
- Plan and regularly review roadmap for future development and enhancements of our services
Skills
- 4 + years of hands-on experience in deploying, managing, and scaling Kubernetes clusters, specifically in AWS EKS
- Proven stakeholder management skills
- Experience in planning and coordinating deliveries
- Solid understanding of the core components of AWS EKS, Kubernetes or OpenShift
- Profound knowledge of AWS core services: VPC, EC2, S3, IAM, Route 53, Load Balancers, Storage, Lambda
- Advanced skills in using DevOps and IaC tools such as Azure DevOps, Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Git
- Understanding of security technologies and observability practices, methods, and tools in AWS
- Efficient troubleshooting and debugging skills, enabling you to diagnose and fix issues quickly and efficiently
- Solid communication skills with the ability to work with diverse teams and build a positive working environment
- Upper-Intermediate English skills

We will ensure that exact salary offered for you will be based on your qualifications, competencies, professional experience and requirements for the corresponding job function (salary range from 5280 EUR to 7920 EUR gross EUR/monthly).
