Our international team in the Data & Analytics function works with each of the businesses to enable adoption of data and utilize analytics and data science to enhance our products and services to our clients. As a Chief Engineer you will be an important part of modernizing our Big Data platform, defining development practices as well as migrating different platforms to public cloud.

Mission

• Analyse and improve platform’s performance and reliability
• Design, build and set up tools / practices for data platform
• Research, development & deployment of the solutions
• Access control, Data control
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues on test and production environments
• Automate processes, operations and remediation actions
• Establish DevOps and Best-practises for working on our current and future cloud data platform ensuring we maximise value from new technologies

Skills

• Proven experience with Hadoop technology
• 5+ years of expertise with Spark development
• 5+ years of experience with Python development
• 2+ years of experience with Linux administration
• 2 years of experience with CI / CD tools
• Experience with Airflow or DAG development
• A team player with a good sense of ownership, motivation and willingness to take accountability and develop projects/tasks to completion
• Experience with public cloud (AWS or GCP) is nice to have
• Intermediate English skills

We will ensure that exact salary offered for you will be based on your qualifications, competencies, professional experience and requirements for the corresponding job function (salary range from 5440 EUR to 8160 EUR gross EUR/monthly).

Your title in job contract will be IT Software Engineer (Cloud Specialist), Chief.
