
Compliance Officer for the Financial Crime Control Testing Team

You will be part of the Control Testing Team in Group Compliance. We are a continuously growing team of 28 professional colleagues based across the Nordics and Lithuania. This open position is based in Lithuania, working out of our office in Vilnius.

The role of Control Testing is to test the design and operational effectiveness of controls against risks and Group Policy, external regulatory requirements and expectations. You will be supported by a cohesive, close-knit team, robust testing methodologies, tools and templates and be encouraged to use your professional judgement through leading or supporting testing activities.
Our annual plan consists of various types of testing activities covering various Financial Crime Compliance risks and control types (manual, automated etc), which creates a versatile work life with many different and varied tasks.
This role does not include a relocation allowance for candidates who are not based in Lithuania or Poland.
Danske Bank supports a high degree of workplace flexibility (our team is currently using a hybrid working model, where we work at least 3 days a week in the office).

Mission
- Test the design and operational effectiveness of controls, reporting and documenting your results in a clear, actionable way
- Ensure alignment and agreement with stakeholders in the context of the reports
- Have ongoing collaboration with our stakeholders on the mitigation and closure of compliance observations
- Navigate in a complex organisational setup, engage with colleagues across multiple teams, and work on high-volume projects, balancing business needs and tight deadlines with accuracy, detail, and analytical approach
Skills
- 3+ years of experience with control testing or control implementation within the financial sector
- Analytical skills with a focus on organising and analysing complex data sets
- Experience working with processes and/or controls in the Financial Crime risk landscape such as Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing, Sanctions, AML etc.)
- Great communication skills, a solution-oriented approach, and the ability to summarise complex information for audiences that is accurate and balanced
- Experience working with stakeholders at various levels
- Upper-Intermediate English skills, both spoken and written
- This is a role for you if you thrive with solo tasks, can prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously, and still find it equally important to collaborate and reach objectives as a team
- Experience in identifying and assessing the design, implementation, and operating effectiveness of IT/system controls, including reporting exceptions and creating mitigation plans, would be beneficial

We will ensure that exact salary offered for you will be based on your qualifications, competencies, professional experience and requirements for the corresponding job function (salary range from 2400 EUR to 3600 EUR gross EUR/monthly).
