Our department in the Data & Analytics function works with each of the businesses to enable the adoption of data and utilize analytics to enhance our products and services to our clients.

The workplace is located in new buildings in Vilnius. Danske Bank supports a high degree of workplace flexibility (we currently use a hybrid work model, where we work at least 3 days in the office).
Mission
- Design and Develop: Design, construct, install, test, and maintain data management systems
- Collect Data: Develop, construct, test, and maintain architectures such as databases and large-scale data processing systems
- Process Data: Recommend and implement processes for data cleansing, data transformation, and data integration
- Collaborate: Collaborate with BI-developers, data scientists and architects on several projects
- Troubleshoot: Perform troubleshooting and resolve data-related issues
- Optimize: Improve system performance by conducting tests, troubleshooting, and integrating new elements
- Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with the latest technology trends, and apply them to current and future solutions
- Data Storage: Create and manage databases and processing systems that allow for the secure storage, querying, and utilization of data
- Data Pipeline: Develop and manage data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data workflow management
- Data Warehousing: Build data warehouse systems for business intelligence, reporting, and data analysis
- Data Security: Ensure systems meet industry practices and business requirements in terms of accuracy, security, and privacy
Skills
We are looking for a person with real life experience of at least 2 years withing at least some of the below areas:
- Data Warehousing: Understanding of data warehousing and business intelligence concepts, e.g., dimensional models (star schemas and snowflake schemas)
- Data Architecture and Pipelines: Ability to design and build data pipelines and frameworks for data collection, processing, and storage. Ideally, this includes some experience with real-time technology
- Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud services such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure
- Data Sourcing: Good understanding and experience in sourcing data from APIs
- ETL Process: Knowledge of ETL/ELT tools and processes
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or Scala
- Problem-solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot issues and develop functional solutions
- Agile: Some understanding of and preference for working in an agile environment
- Team Collaboration: Ability to collaborate effectively, as we value teamwork highly
- Upper-Intermediate English skills

We will ensure that exact salary offered for you will be based on your qualifications, competencies, professional experience and requirements for the corresponding job function (salary range from 3360 EUR to 5040 EUR gross EUR/monthly).
Your title in job contract will be IT Software Engineer (Data Engineer).
