Join us as a Data Engineer in Procurement & Premises, where you’ll play a crucial role in building and optimizing data pipelines, integrating diverse data sources, and enabling insightful analytics across our organization.
You’ll become part of the Digital Procurement team, a close-knit group of 7 people, including business intelligence/data analysts, business analysts and IT application specialists. We’re located in Copenhagen and Vilnius. Our work environment is characterized by autonomy, collaboration, and a strong sense of responsibility, enabling every team member to have a significant impact.
As a Data Engineer, you’ll have end-to-end responsibility for developing and maintaining our data platform, integrating multiple source systems through APIs, SFTP servers, databases, and potentially other sources. Your primary tools will be Python and SQL, which you’ll use daily to build robust, scalable, and innovative solutions.
You will be located in Vilnius, Lithuania.

Mission
- Design and manage data architectures using Python, SQL Server, and APIs to efficiently integrate diverse data sources
- Implement strategies to maintain data quality, lineage, and reconciliation
- Work closely with analysts and stakeholders to ensure data availability and accessibility
- Enhance system performance through testing, troubleshooting, and integrating advanced technologies
- Explore emerging technologies, including generative AI, to future-proof our data infrastructure
- Proactively research, evaluate, and implement new technologies and methodologies, particularly within cloud environments (on-prem and AWS)
Skills
- 2+ years of experience and proficiency in SQL and Python for building data pipelines, ETL workflows, and API integrations
- Proven experience working with databases and data integration
- Solid knowledge of Alteryx & Visual Studio
- Exposure to or knowledge of data modelling
- An agile mindset, experience with Jira (or similar), and comfort with documentation tools like Confluence
- Advanced communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach
- Comfort in taking ownership and working autonomously while enjoying teamwork and collaboration
- Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS would be a strong plus)
- Upper-Intermediate English skills

We will ensure that exact salary offered for you will be based on your qualifications, competencies, professional experience and requirements for the corresponding job function (salary range from 3440 EUR to 5160 EUR gross EUR/monthly).
Your title in job contract will be IT Software Engineer (Data Engineer).
