Sistema Capital Partners (SCP) is the cross-border private equity platform of Sistema (LSE: SSA), a major diversified financial corporation.
SCP invests and manages the capital of institutional and high-net-worth co-investors from around the world in international markets and Russia, while also investing own capital of Sistema.
We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated Financial Controller, preferably with experience in real estate market. The candidate will work with the teams in London, Germany and Luxembourg, as well as service providers in various countries, to provide a full accounting and financial administration service to senior management and investors; also will assist generally in all aspects of financial and management accounting, tax, monitoring, control and reporting and to provide deal support.

The role is based in Vilnius and reports to Chief Financial Officer
Responsible for providing a full accounting and financial administration service to include:
Ensuring complete, accurate and timely reporting of teams and local service providers in Germany, Luxembourg, Switzerland and Guernsey (e.g. accountants, property managers, corporate servicers)
Ensuring that all management data is properly obtained and recorded
Reviewing the received financial and management reporting
Preparing quarterly management accounts to include all financial results and other relevant statistics/KPIs
Preparing quarterly board reports and investor reports
Preparing quarterly investment financials and AUM returns for Sistema
Dealing with investor queries Initiating distribution/drawdown process and management of cashflow forecasts
Preparing IFRS AFS
Supervising the audit process
Liaising with local accountants for the preparation and submission of local corporate tax and VAT returns, Fatca / CRS/ AEOI/ CBCR
Ensuring deal support by reviewing financial information and legal documentation
Ad hoc reports and valuations
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Strong IFRS knowledge, ability to research and conclude on accounting issues
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power Point
Strong business analysis and problem-solving skills
Ability to express complex issues succinctly and clearly to non-technical colleagues
Fully qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA) would be an advantage
Fluent in oral and written English. Another European language would be an advantage
Excellent communication/negotiation, organisational and inter-personal skills
Flexibility to work in a fast-moving environment in a very hand’s on role

Ability to manage day-to-day operational issues, and agile problem-solving skills
Organised, rigorous and disciplined
Occasional business travels
