Task information:

You will become part of the Applications business line General ledger team, which is part of Group Finance. An engaged and skilled team of 8 professionals at HQ in Kaunas along with ~120 colleagues at our shared service center (SSC) in Kaunas, Lithuania across all functions in house.
• General ledger covers leading an internal reporting, financial accuracy ensuring our financials are in accordance with IFRS and business partnering towards other support functions and Group Finance team.You will work in an open, international and team-focused climate, where your personal career development and preparation for future attractive positions in the accounting/finance area will be supported by your direct manager and overall management team. You will be a key player ensuring accounting quality and accuracy of data. Other tasks will be:
• Oversee and process G/L transactions including not limited to: accruals and provisions, IC transactions, reconciliations and Internal compliance procedures, BS & PL reclasses;
• Handle month-end, quarter-end and year-end activities based on processes in place;
• Ensure that all assigned tasks are done efficiently and with high quality and timely manner;
• Handle inquiries from internal customers as well as outsourcing partners in a timely and quality manner;
• Manage asset accounting process and handle the additions, disposals, depreciation, etc.;
• Oversee and handle legal compliance processes, such as: statutory reporting, corporate tax return, audits, WHT and statistical reporting.

Requirements:

• Strong technical accounting background with in-depth knowledge of full cycle accounting process;
• Strong analytical skills with attention to details;
• Fluent in English;
• Team player as well as be able to work independently;
• Proactiveness and adaptability to dynamic environment;
• Good organizational and delegation skills;
• Relevant Degree in accounting/ finance;
• Preferably +2 years of experience from a similar role within accounting/finance in an international company.
