Get ready to

  • Map out the landscape for M&A opportunities by collaborating with the internal research team, gathering acquisition ideas at tech conferences and other events, collaborating with investment funds/brokers, and reviewing inbound and other opportunities that arise through his personal and Kilo Health network
  • In conjunction with the Growth department, provide views/recommendations to the top management on focus areas for M&A (select market segments with the most attractive targets), and focus M&A efforts based on agreed priorities
  • Perform initial research on targets and summarize findings in a clear and concise manner; present findings to the top management
  • Perform outreach, and interact with potential targets
  • Drive financial and business due diligence in collaboration with internal teams
  • Design optimal deal structure(s)
  • Prepare investment memos that include: an acquisition business case that encompasses all the diligence findings, summary diligence findings, proposed deal structure(s), and considerations around negotiation tactics, etc
  • Present investment memos to the top management in a clear and compelling manner
  • Draft term sheets and lead negotiations with potential targets
  • In conjunction with the Legal team, drive deal documentation drafting and ensure that legal agreements properly reflect the business case/presented deal structure
  • Support internal teams during the acquisition integration process
  • Track and report post-acquisition performance
  • Monitor and report overall M&A performance against set KPIs

We expect you to

  • Have 4+ years of financial/business analysis experience in a high-performance environment, such as investment banking, private equity/venture capital, high-growth technology company, consulting firm, or equivalent
  • Have a university degree (MSc/BSc) in a quantitative study field (e.g., Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Statistics)
  • Have experience working with data sets, reporting, and dashboards
  • Have experience working with company financials, KPIs, market reports
  • Be a good communicator who can present complex results in an informative, concise, and compelling way to a wide range of stakeholders
  • Have strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills with a strong eye for detail
  • Be proficient in extracting, analyzing, and visualizing quantitative data in automated ways using Excel, Google Sheets, Looker, etc
  • Be a collaborative person who is at ease when building internal and external working relationships with internal and external teams
  • Be excited to work in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment
  • Have a strong sense of ownership and be goal-oriented
  • Be able to think and work independently
  • Be proficient in spoken and written English (it’s our working language)
  • Be excited to learn new things in order to take on new projects and develop personally
  • Bonus: have experience working with digital B2C and B2B businesses in the health and wellness industry

Salary

The gross salary range is 5500–8400 EUR/month + performance based discretionary bonus
