Do you want to elevate your cloud development, scripting and automation skills? We have high skillset requirements in Data Management Support (DMS), where you will gain advanced skills, especially in navigating a real enterprise-grade development environment.

You have a unique opportunity to join a team at the heart of Data Management implementation at Danske Bank, Denmark’s largest bank. Your integration footprint will be vital to tracking metadata, data lineage, and data quality within the bank.

In Data & Analytics (D&A), we are a growing team of over 150 people. Within D&A, the Data Platform Tribe (DPT) includes the Data Management Support (DMS) squad, where you will work in a team of 12 to implement integration between enterprise-grade Data Management tools and various databases, streaming platforms, and Big Data platforms. Our squad’s purpose is to equip the rest of the bank with tools to enable cross-platform data products and ensure Data Management compliance.

We are seeking a dedicated colleague to develop AWS cloud solutions and scripts, integrating platforms, setting up automation, and establishing CI/CD pipelines, among other tasks.

You will work in a highly organised environment, where the learning curve will be steep. However, there is a tremendous opportunity to learn a great deal due to our strong focus on enterprise-grade quality and security in a banking context.

Depending on your experience and knowledge, we may offer you various levels of seniority for the role.

Mission

• Develop Terraform scripts for the AWS environment
• Develop and maintain AWS cloud solutions
• Develop, maintain and use APIs in Python
• Automate setups and deployments across environments
• Integrate the Data Quality module from the Data Management suite into the data platforms, ensuring that data quality checks can access the platforms and that results are reported back to the Data Management suite

Skills

• Solid experience with scripting languages, such as Linux command line (Bash) or similar tools like AWS CLI and Terraform
• Experience with AWS development; alternatively, extensive Azure experience to facilitate transitioning to AWS
• Proficiency in Python, including REST API calls for data integrations and automation
• Understanding automation in scripted deployments, such as in CI/CD setups.
• Experience with Git in an enterprise setup
• Upper-Intermediate English skills, both written and verbal

We will ensure that exact salary offered for you will be based on your qualifications, competencies, professional experience and requirements for the corresponding job function (salary range from 3280 EUR to 4920 EUR gross EUR/monthly).
