Shift Financial services is a money remittance company having the main office in London, UK and a regional office in Amman, Jordan. Shift is going towards becoming more involved Fintech, with the establishment of Lithuanian company Shift has stepped in the Lithuanian market, and Shift is planning to expand the services provided to it clients.

Functions in Lithuania:
Lithuanian company branch will be Shift’s hub for Europe, our functions after the expansion will include but will not be limited to: Operations, Accounting, AML, BD, support, and other required functions.

Task information:

  • We are looking for the next superstar & team member to rock the Fintech world.
  • The primary role of the Marketing & Business Development Manager is to prospect for new agents. They must then plan persuasive approaches and pitches that will convince potential agents to tie-up with SHIFT. They must develop a relationship with new agents, creation of new corridors, Implementation of an effective action plan, and set targets for sales revenue and provide support that will continually improve this target. They are also required to grow and retain existing accounts by presenting new solutions and services to agents.
  • Marketing & Business Development Managers work with mid and senior level management, marketing, and technical staff. He/she may manage the activities of others responsible for developing business for the company. Strategic planning is a key part of this job description, since it is the business manager’s responsibility to develop the pipeline of new business coming in to the company. This requires a thorough knowledge of the market, the services the company can provide, and of the company’s competitors.
  • Duties and Responsibilities of Marketing & BD Manager:
  • Prospect for potential new agents and turn this into increased business.
  • Set meetings with agent’s decision makers.
  • Present new services and enhance existing relationships.
  • Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.
  • Present and consult with senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new services, and distribution channels.
  • Identify regional marketing campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales revenue.
  • Forecast the transaction volumes and ensure their implementation.
  • Set the pricing for corridors.
  • Work with marketing staff to ensure that prerequisites are fulfilled within a timely manner and achieve the marketing campaigns.
  • Suggest new service or plans that will enhance the business performance.

Requirements:

  • The position of Marketing & Business Development Manager requires:
  • Experience in the financial industry (Payment Institutions & E-money Institutions or banks)
  • At least a bachelor’s degree in business, finance or a related field
  • Excellent command, highly proficient in spoken and written English, other languages is a plus.
  • Networking, Persuasion, Prospecting, Public Speaking, Closing Skills, Motivation for Sales, Sales Planning, Identification of Customer Needs and Challenges, Territory Management, Market Knowledge.
