We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Test Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for manual testing, writing automation tests using Cypress, possesses a solid understanding of browser and service testing, JavaScript, Jest, and Postman. You will be joining the Asset Financing Tribe. The Tribe’s goals are to deliver digital end-to-end asset financing products to our customers while maintaining a long-term focus on building a robust and scalable platform to support all our products within the Nordics.

Mission

• Conduct thorough manual testing of web applications and services to identify defects and ensure product quality
• Write, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Cypress, ensure test coverage and reliability. Integrate test automation into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline to provide rapid feedback to development teams
• Understand and address the specifics of browser compatibility and performance testing to ensure the software functions seamlessly across different browsers and versions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and users to develop test plans (regressions), test cases, and test strategies based on project requirements. Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test results
• Identify, document, and prioritize defects, issues, and discrepancies in a clear and organized manner
• Execute regression tests to verify that previously identified issues have been resolved and that new changes do not introduce new defects
• Conduct basic performance testing to ensure software responsiveness and efficiency
• Effectively communicate test results, issues, and progress to team members, stakeholders, and management

Skills

• Proven experience in manual and automated testing, with a focus on web applications
• Proficiency in JavaScript and experience with testing frameworks such as Jest
• Hands-on experience with Cypress or similar automation tools
• Knowledge of best practices in software testing and quality assurance, familiarity with browser testing and understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to a culture of quality
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality software
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines would be beneficial
• Experience with Newman (Collection Runner for Postman) would be beneficial
• Advanced English skills

We will ensure that exact salary offered for you will be based on your qualifications, competencies, professional experience and requirements for the corresponding job function (salary range from 2400 EUR to 3600 EUR gross EUR/monthly).
