Senior .NET Engineer in Markets Core Platform
Area
We are developing the next generation markets trade data model and services exposed as high throughout gRPC APIs. Our users are other internal developer teams that use our APIs.
You will join a squad of 12 people: developers, analysts, product owner and tech lead. Our team is based in Lithuania, and we work in 2-week sprints.
The team is responsible for 16 TB of markets trade data, 8 billion calculation results with 20 million new value, risk and cash flow numbers every day.
Tech stack
- C#
- SQL Server for data storage
- Kafka and RabbitMq for message distribution
- APIs exposed as gRPC
- git, Azure DevOps, terraform
Depending on your experience and knowledge, we may offer you different seniority of the role.
Mission
- Design, develop and operate gRPC APIs using C#
- Help other teams design the best data structure
- Make sure our APIs are up and running; users are content
- Mentor and guide your colleagues
Skills
- 4+ years of experience in C#/.NET
- Solid understanding of designing APIs and message-based systems
- Take challenges as a learning opportunity
- Proficient at explaining your ideas, understanding and solving complex problems
- Upper-intermediate English skills
We would consider as a bonus:
- Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ or equivalent technologies
- Experience with gRPC APIs and Protocol Buffers (proto 3)

We will ensure that exact salary offered for you will be based on your qualifications, competencies, professional experience and requirements for the corresponding job function (salary range from 4480 EUR to 6720 EUR gross EUR/monthly).
