Are you a skilled and motivated professional ready to assist us in implementing effective practices and processes from the very beginning? Your expertise will be invaluable in establishing the initial processes for our newly formed team within the Wealth Planning and Investment Tribe.
Comprising around 180 members, our Tribe contributes to innovation and development across investment-related products. It is divided into squads, consisting of cross-functional teams of business and IT professionals focused on specific missions.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to enhance our clients’ mobile experience through the investment features in our mobile banking app. You will work together with knowledgeable business and functional specialists, test automation engineers, developers, and product owners to guarantee the quality, reliability, and high standards of our investment applications.
Mission
- Lead the development, execution, and maintenance of comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing
- Partner with the product team to proactively identify quality requirements and testing needs early in the development lifecycle
- Oversee the detection, documentation, and tracking of defects to resolution, ensuring they are prioritised and addressed effectively
- Collaborate closely with test automation engineers to strategise and implement automation solutions for daily and regression testing
- Conduct in-depth performance and usability testing to ensure applications meet and exceed required standards
- Champion adherence to quality assurance processes and best practices, driving improvements across the tribe
- Coordinate end-to-end testing efforts among delivering teams, facilitating communication, monitoring testing progress, and preparing comprehensive testing reports
- Design and manage test data preparation to optimise test case execution efficiency
Skills
- At least 4 years of experience in QA role in an Agile or cross-functional environment
- In-depth experience testing Mobile applications
- Solid knowledge of testing methodologies, tools and best practices
- Experience with API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like GitLab or Azure DevOps
- Basic knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript or TypeScript
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to details, and a proactive mindset towards test strategy execution on daily basis
- Good collaboration skills and Upper-Intermediate English skills
- Experience with performance testing tools like K6 or LoadRunner is beneficial
- ISTQB certification or equivalent is considered beneficial
