We now offer an opportunity to be part of the Credit Decisioning Tribe within Danske Bank, where our mission is to enable customers to realize their dreams and ambitions with trusted and frictionless credit decisions in any channel and journey.
Welcome to our Tribe!
You will become part of our Tribe, where your role will be to define Danske Bank’s target architecture for the credit decisioning area. You will be part of a cross – functional squad, bringing all the necessary knowledge to the same team, where it will be your responsibility to define the future architecture. You will also join our chapter of Software Architects, defining practices and reference architecture across all 20 squads in our tribe.
We are on a journey to create a unified, plug-and-play credit process that can hook into all our channels. We have a data-driven approach for creating near-instant, automated credit decisions that work seamlessly with our advisory solutions. We have a solid customer focus, and we do our best to provide the best possible experience for customers and advisors. We provide and develop capabilities that Danske Bank uses for assessing all loan applications, whether it be simple personal customers applying for a Mastercard or cross-country, big enterprises applying for complex loans and credit facilities. Mission
- Define and implement the software architecture for one of the Nordics’ largest banks
- See the “big picture” across solutions, systems, and the organization, and create architectural approaches for software design with your squad
- Act as the architecture lead in development initiatives to improve solution design
- Design solutions to meet short- and long-term business needs and requirements, aligned with strategic architecture direction and roadmaps
- Help us continuously adapt and improve the way we work across squads and tribes
- Work with full-stack development, covering both backend development in Java and frontend development in React for web and mobile
Skills
- Solid experience in Java development using frameworks like Spring Boot
- Experience in API-based integration using REST APIs and an event-driven architecture
- Good knowledge of microservices architecture, containerized development and deployment
- Proficiency in domain modeling and domain-driven design (DDD)
- Ability to promote common understanding and take the right architectural decisions
- Have a “yes, we can” attitude, a good sense of responsibility, and the ability to facilitate and inspire engagement among your colleagues
- Advanced English language skills both in speaking and writing

We will ensure that exact salary offered for you will be based on your qualifications, competencies, professional experience and requirements for the corresponding job function (salary range from 4960 EUR to 7440 EUR gross EUR/monthly).
