At Danske Bank, we are driven to deliver premium financial services and solutions to our customers. The Workflow Enablement Tribe is leading the deployment of our workflow automation platform, which will host over 900 bank-wide processes. We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to join our vibrant team and contribute to the evolution of banking.

The Workflow Enablement Tribe works in agile squads within an international organisation. You will be part of a squad consisting of more than 10 members, located in Denmark, India, and Lithuania. Your role will involve driving the architecture design and maturity of the workflow orchestration domain.

As a Senior Solution Architect, you will be responsible for discovering and defining the capabilities of the workflow orchestration domain, transforming the way the bank handles processes and optimisation. An integral part of your role will be to bring structure, innovation, and efficiency to workflow development across the organisation and ensure a positive impact on the workflow of thousands of employees.

Mission

• Be the caretaker of the architecture governance and target architecture for our Workflow Orchestration capabilities
• Design and lead the development of new solutions, alongside both technical and business stakeholders within a cross-functional agile squad
• Balance deliveries and business needs while building a future-proof and scalable set of capabilities
• Define new features and services, functional and non-functional requirements, taking technical responsibility for the current and future state of the services within that squad

Skills

• 3+ years of experience as a solution/software architect
• Technical leadership experience for a particular domain or system
• You are a great communicator and like managing, explaining, and socializing the target architecture and solution designs – you will need advanced communication and documentation skills, including the ability to create clarity for both business and technical stakeholders
• You have knowledge and experience with Architectural Design and Modelling, Domain Driven Design, Design Patterns and CI-CD principles
• Experience designing event-driven architectures, micro-services, and APIs
• Solid development and coding experience (Java, full stack), building highly available and scalable solutions
• Advanced English language skills, both written and spoken
• Experience within the workflow domain / process orchestration is beneficial

We will ensure that exact salary offered for you will be based on your qualifications, competencies, professional experience and requirements for the corresponding job function (salary range from 5600 EUR to 8400 EUR gross EUR/monthly).
