
Team Leader for Cross Border Payments

You will have the direct responsibility for supervising a team of professionals in Payment’s operations area (Cross Border Payments Team). You will be in charge of directing the team’s daily activities and long term goals.
The team is responsible for fixing various incoming and outgoing cross border SWIFT payments according to industry wide regulations and strict cut offs.
We expect you to lead an effective team while also encouraging your team members to create value in partnership with the internal stakeholders and customers.
While being responsible for achieving business targets, you will also have an equally important responsibility for ensuring the team’s high job satisfaction, continuous development as well as process improvements.
Depending on your experience and knowledge, we may offer you a different seniority for the role.
The workplace is located in Vilnius. Danske Bank supports workplace flexibility (we currently use a hybrid work model, where we work at least 3 days in the office).
This role does not include a relocation allowance.
Mission
- Motivate, develop and coach the team to ensure a culture of effective employee engagement, continuous improvement and high customer focus
- Coordinate and distribute team workload
- Ensure professional and effective processing of administrative/back-office tasks
- Support team to understand, optimize and improve processes with a focus on efficiency
- Ensure compliance with the Group`s business procedures and market regulations
- Focus on risk management
- Work according to LEAN principles and deliver on continuous improvement initiatives
- Be a part of industry wide SWIFT standard implementations
Skills
- 3+ years of leadership experience in the banking or finance-related sector or operations
- Extensive experience in stakeholder management
- Strong skills in time management and work organisation
- Effective decision-making abilities, ability to handle changing circumstances
- Customer-centric approach and motivation to deliver high-quality service
- Ability to motivate employees and ensure high engagement
- Knowledge in payments/accounting or operations management
- Advanced English skills, both written and spoken

We will ensure that exact salary offered for you will be based on your qualifications, competencies, professional experience and requirements for the corresponding job function (salary range from 3280 EUR to 4920 EUR gross EUR/monthly).
Your title in job contract will be Leader of Team.
