NKT Shared Service Centre for Accounting and Financial Control in Kaunas is looking for a Junior Treasurer who is eager to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a growing global team. Joining HQ in Kaunas with ~100 colleagues across all functions in house you will open yourself a world of learning possibilities from the experts and unlimited future career opportunities in international finance as well. You will be a key part of the Group Treasury department both professionally and socially by ensuring high quality and timely execution of the various tasks within guarantees and cash management, while also engaging in the team and being able to step in to solve and support on other tasks. The Junior Treasurer is expected to be proactive and strong partner to the various external and internal stakeholders, and also be able to drive improvements.
What can you expect from the position?
You will be based in an international environment in a modern office in Kaunas. This role covers tasks mainly within Cash- and Liquidity management and Guarantees. You will be having responsibilities in issuing and cancelling guarantees in close collaboration with the business lines and support maintaining an overview of issued guarantees. Your main tasks will include but not be limited to:
- Handle daily guarantee requests;
- Monthly open ended guarantees reporting;
- Maintain overview of bank guarantees
- Monitor all ongoing and future projects for guarantee line utilization forecasting;
- Handle IC calculations on IC loans and cash pool accounts;
- Update internal margins on all cash pool bank accounts and IC loans;
- Handle all ‘Know Your Customer’ (KYC) requests on existing and new relationships with third parties;
- Maintain updated Treasury Power of Attorneys (PoA);
- Provide monthly accounting deliverables to Group Finance.
What do we expect from the candidate:
The candidate should have Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related discipline, higher commercial certificate or similar. On top of this, we expect you to have:
- Preferably experience in a similar position or from the banking industry (internship/ practice also counts);
- Experienced user of Microsoft Office (mainly Excel and Powerpoint);
- Drive for delivering results at high quality and eagerness to learn;
- Proactive, a keen desire to learn, develop and be continuously challenged;
- Fluent written and spoken English (reading and understanding German language is beneficial, but not a requirement).

Salary offered: 2.500 - 3.600 €/month (gross)
Indicated salary range is the overall perspective for position per se, exact salary being subject to your competencies and experience.
