Tribe Architect for the API and Public Cloud Tribe

Danske Banks’ future IT landscape builds on segregated systems. We will achieve this by moving domain-based capabilities to distributed platforms, exposing their functionality as APIs and Events. Using Domain-Driven Design (DDD) to understand our systems required decomposition, implementing the strangler pattern to move targeted capabilities and the CQRS pattern to facilitate an evolutionary journey.

In the API & Public Cloud Tribe, we enable other tribes across the organization to accelerate their journey towards our organization’s strategy. Facilitating DDD workshops, identifying architectural approaches, educating developers on the creation of proper APIs, and streamlining the developer journey through common capabilities and reusable libraries.

The Tribe consists of 9 squads of 5 developers and a PO that builds PIs for a range of different domains within the larger organization. The IT organizations are composed of autotomize tribes, all work according to the Agile principles, most development teams (Squads) use Scrum, to ensure effective development of the IT solutions and platforms.
