Task information:
- Direct supervision of two engineering teams
- Ensure the needs for learning and development for your team members are met
- Coach your team to drive engineering best practices and excellence
- Nurture a culture of inclusiveness, diversity, and team belonging
- Ensure engagement and deliver transparency to your teams
- Coach agile best practices and principles
- Hold regular 1-1s that focus on employee growth and trust building
- Meet regularly with other engineering managers to drive communication and transparency across the engineering organization
- Build strong partnerships with Product, Service, and Delivery to ensure we are delivery constant value to our customers that meets a high bar of excellence
- Provide constructive feedback to directs and coworkers through radical candor to ensure a culture of constant improvement and to help everyone grow together
- Participating in tactical and strategic discussions on the direction we will take our engineering organization
- Performing regular code and architectural reviews for your teams, and other teams to ensure technical accuracy and engineering best practices and as an opportunity for coaching
- Providing regular and consistent feedback and recognition to your teams, team members, and management.
- Ensure your teams, and their accomplishments, are seen and celebrated
- Be a servant leader for your team, coach them, don’t command them
Requirements:
- University degree or comparable qualification and 7+ years of professional experience leading an engineering team
- Previous experience in Software Engineering
- Very good communication skills and pragmatic action combined with a result-oriented mindset
- Experience leading Agile teams with 5+ direct reports in a management role
- Extreme Ownership and Accountability skills
- Organizational skills for keeping track of multiple employees, schedules, and projects simultaneously
- Proven supervisory and technical skills
- Good conflict resolution skills
- Structured way of working
- Analytical thinking skills
- Ability to make decisions quickly and own them
- Very good spoken and written English (minimum C1 / C2 desired)

- Experience with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework)
