Data Engineer

What you will do:
  • Work with challenging tasks to maintain data that helps our teams to gain insights on various aspects of our system;
  • Develop, support, and optimize ETL/ELT processes;
  • Design and develop effective data models;
  • Collaborate both with analytics and back-end teams in order to ensure smooth data pipelines and processing;
  • Data quality assurance.

  • What we expect:
  • Best practises and working experience with data operations;
  • At least 2 years experience with MySQL and other databases;
  • Very good SQL knowledge;
  • Good skills in Python language;
  • Strong problem-solving skills, team player mentality, and good communication skills;
  • Not being afraid of grooming tasks on your own or together with a team, asking thoughtful questions;
  • Experience in some of the following fields would be very welcome: REST APIs, GCP BigQuery (or similar), Airflow & DBT (or similar), Kafka Connect, real-time data processing (Kafka Streams, Sparks Streams, etc.), Docker (+ Kubernetes), Linux distributions, data platform management & administration.
