The opportunity
EY Tax team is taking a fundamentally different look at what it takes to operate in this hyper-connected global economy. Digital Tax Transformation and Digital Tax Administration are new tax realities locally and globally. Currently, our Tax team is looking for an experienced team member who will work with the Digital Tax Transformation and Digital Tax Administration compliance services. This is an area that has seen plenty of recent growth and investment – and you will see that reflected in your career. Together with the team you will work with (importing, validating, analyzing) data of our key clients and projects which will further develop your accounting and tax knowledge.
Your key responsibilities:
- Work directly with clients to gather appropriate data for delivering the service, with the main focus on SAF-T;
- Analyze client workpapers, map the data for automation purposes;
- Actively contribute to improving operational efficiency on projects and internal initiatives;
- Facilitate client workshops including the features of the solutions offered;
- Support clients using EY tax applications;
- Advise how clients should prepare for digital tax transformation and review their compliance status using new tax applications available at EY;
- Assist to maintain and improve EY tax applications by performing system monitoring and analysis, troubleshooting, escalating application problems to vendor;
- Develop people through effectively supervising, coaching, and mentoring staff, all the while handling activities with a focus on quality and commercial value.

To qualify for the role, you must have:
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics, accounting, finance or a related field;
- A minimum of 2-3 years of work experience in accounting, finance, data analysis or related field;
- Knowledge in accounting, good understanding of tax accounting and major tax processes;
- A strong interest in technology and its use in business processes;
- Excellent communication and business writing skills;
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with exceptional client-serving consulting skills;
- Advanced MS Excel skills;
- Fluent English and Lithuanian.
