Task information:

Do you want to lead exciting and high-attention projects in a fast-evolving company?

At Royal Unibrew, we're experiencing unprecedented growth and expansion. Join us in shaping the future of our company as we integrate new businesses into our IT ecosystem.

As part of the development, we have built a PMO in Group IT where governance model, processes, templates, and supporting systems have been created and are under continuous improvement – this offers you plenty of opportunities to influence how we initiate, execute, manage, conclude, and follow up on projects.

What you will be doing

As a Project Manager in the Group IT PMO, your projects will vary in size and duration, but all will be in close collaboration with the relevant business stakeholders and IT colleagues whom you can rely on for expertise.

You will plan and manage feature development projects and projects supporting the migration of acquired businesses into the Group IT solution landscape.

Most projects will require some travelling between the Royal Unibrew locations –approx. 4-6 days per month (primarily in Europe), planned in close collaboration with the core project team.

Your primary responsibilities

Initiate new projects in close collaboration with the business and key SMEs from Group IT’s delivery teams with business outcomes and benefits at the core.
Project scoping, planning, budget controlling, and management – ensuring stable progress and handling of challenges during the project and planning the follow-up on post-project benefit realization.
Lead, inspire and motivate the project team members.
Strong stakeholder management – aligning expectations with the business, securing transparency, and collaborating with the project SteerCo.
Contribute to continuously developing/improving processes, templates, tools, and methods in the Group IT PMO.

Requirements:

You are a qualified IT Project Manager (minimum 6 years’ experience) who excels at quickly familiarizing yourself with new technologies to understand the tech-stack’s influence on your project and its deliverables.

We are looking for an experienced colleague who has a full project management backpack, isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and actively participate in the work performed in the projects. We are a flat organization, and you will be expected to do the administrative parts of project management yourself based on the framework and tools provided in our Group IT PMO.

If you have prior knowledge working with ERP (preferably SAP), HR systems (e.g. SuccessFactors) or data platforms, it’s an advantage.

You will fit perfectly into our team of professional, dedicated, and fun people if you are:

Listening and open to inputs from others and contribute with your take on topics.
Thrive in a structure that is on many fronts under construction.
A highly skilled communicator who is capable of being very direct as well as showing extensive diplomacy depending on the context and target audience – being in relation to project team members, other business and Group IT stakeholders, and your Project Board/SteerCo.
Willing to dig into details when necessary but never losing sight of the big picture.
Proactive, with the ability to think ahead, identify and address potential challenges in projects at an early stage.
Eager to contribute to our ‘PMO & IT Business Partnering’ team being a great place to work where we challenge each other professionally, offer and receive sparring, and have fun – all of this in a team spread across the Nordics on multiple Royal Unibrew locations.

Other professional qualifications

Project Management certification (IPMA, PMI, Prince2 or equivalent)
Experience with different project management methodologies – waterfall, agile, and hybrid methods.
Experience from a medium to large international organization.
English on a professional level – it is an advantage if you speak one of the Nordic languages.

Company offers:

The ‘PMO & IT Business Partnering’ team is a part of Group IT. To support the growth of Royal Unibrew and modernise our central IT platforms, Group IT is growing extensively and are currently approx. 80 people across the Nordics, the Netherlands, Italy, and the Baltics - covering commercial applications, SAP ERP, IT Security & Operations, integrations, and data platforms.

We are characterised by a close-knit environment where decisions are made without unnecessary delay, where we know each other across Group IT and in the local markets, and where positive collaborative relations are more important than hierarchies.

The position is at our Vilnius office – some remote work is possible. Staying connected to your colleagues in the business and Group IT and becoming ingrained in the local site culture is important in this role in particular – therefor you will be expected to travel to our Faxe location once per month for 2-3 days to interact directly with your Group IT colleagues.
