As our new Senior Legal Counsel, you will:
The new Senior Legal Counsel will be a part of the Financial Products & Partnerships Legal Team and will:
- Help to structure and expand kevin. products that are compliant with PSD2 and other legal acts.
- Be an integral part of the product and commercial teams and negotiate contract details with the biggest PSPs, marketplaces etc., within EEA market.
- Evaluate new kevin. products from a legal perspective and be a decision maker whether new kevin. products are compliant with PSD2 and other legal acts.
- Evaluate possible cooperation models with PSPs, marketplaces etc., to ensure that kevin. adapts to client needs and is known as a reliable service provider.
- Be responsible for improving kevin. services agreement to make them a top-legal document, which ensures a flawless signing process.
- Undertake a hands-on role to handle complex legal matters.
What you need to be successful:
- 5+ years' of experience in business related legal work.
- 3+ years' of experience of working in a Fintech company.
- Master's degree in Law.
- Proven experience in the payments industry (legal regulation and commercial practices).
- Being proactive in identifying organisational needs, a self-starter, with a desire to work in a fast-paced start up environment.
- Excellent organisational problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Strong computer literacy including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Fluent in English (both spoken & written).
