What you'll be doing
As a Paralegal within a start-up private equity/asset management project, you will play a vital role in providing support to our legal and compliance team. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of legal and administrative tasks related to fund administration, portfolio companies, investor onboarding, and regulatory compliance. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring efficient operations, maintaining legal compliance, and supporting the growth of a freshly established team.
How you’ll spend your day
- Collaborating with the fund administrator to ensure accurate and timely completion of fund-related tasks (fund records, legal documentation, investment agreements, regulatory filings, etc.).
- Coordinating with external service providers (auditors and tax advisors) to facilitate smooth fund administration processes.
- Providing legal and administrative support to the legal team (drafting and reviewing contracts, maintaining corporate records, assisting with corporate governance matters, etc.).
- Handling the Know Your Customer (KYC) process.
- Facilitate the investor onboarding process, including preparing subscription agreements, coordinating with external parties, and maintaining investor records.
- Conducting legal research on various topics and assisting in the preparation of legal memos, reports, and presentations.
- Assisting the legal and compliance team in monitoring and ensuring adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
You'll be successful if you have
- Bachelor’s degree in law, Paralegal Studies, or a related field. Relevant certifications would be kept as an advantage.
- Proven experience as a paralegal, preferably in the private equity, asset management, or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of fund administration processes, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance.
- Familiarity with KYC and AML requirements.
- Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in legal research tools and Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Salary
2000-4400 EUR/month gross (before tax) based on your competencies, skills, and experience.
