Collections Manager

Task information:

• Support our network of pan-European external collection partners by providing all required information and documentation
• Actively monitor and manage our network of external collection partners by setting targets and understanding deviations and apply mitigating actions
• Show a deep understanding of collections processes, legislation & regulations, and industry best practices including legal collections
• Lead, develop and coach a team of 6 direct reports in different locations
• Monitor team’s and system’s performance ensuring high quality and company protocols are in place
• Embracing a proactive leadership role and leading by positive example
• Delivering high performance and driving efficiency and effectiveness
• Ensure best practice is shared within the overall service unit
• Apply and embrace agile methodology and culture

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in collections processes, regulations or credit management.
• Previous experience leading and developing teams, coaching direct reports, and driving performance.
• Knowledge of industry trends and regulatory requirements.
• Working knowledge of managing and monitoring a network of external partners.
• Ability to set targets, monitor performance, and take mitigating actions when necessary.
• Strong problem-solving skills, to be able to identify issues and take proactive measures to address them.
• Proven ability to work effectively with individual contributors, management, and across departments
