Senior User Researcher, User Research

We are looking for a Senior User Researcher to join Vinted Marketplace on a two-year fixed-term contract. This is a flexible role; rather than owning research for a single area, you’ll support two areas spanning several domains: mainly Buyer, Supply, Security, and Trust.

In this role, you’ll explore user needs and behaviour across the selling and buying journeys, and identify and explain safety- and security-related issues from the user's perspective. You’ll work with stakeholders to turn these insights into solutions that address real member needs. Your work will include both strategic discoveries and tactical evaluations.

You’ll partner with other researchers working in the domains and collaborate with designers, product managers, data scientists, and engineers. You’ll be part of the wider Vinted Research team, which includes Research Operations specialists, Market Researchers, and User Researchers.

• Lead end-to-end generative and evaluative research across domains, using a range of research methods.
• Collaborate with and support other researchers and cross-functional partners on their research projects.
• Deliver actionable insights by combining attitudinal and behavioural data, and turn them into clear recommendations for product and business decisions.
• Consolidate research knowledge and identify user knowledge gaps.
• Regularly provide and solicit feedback to enhance the quality of research, reinforcing a culture of user-centricity.

• Extensive experience in designing and executing research studies in a business setting.
• Expertise in both quantitative and qualitative research methods.
• A track record of independently leading complex, ambiguous research projects.
• The ability to translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations tailored to different audiences.
• Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams and researchers, plus experience mentoring others.
• The ability to build trust with new stakeholders and influence their decisions.
• Comfort with changing priorities and context switching.
