KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

We are currently looking for an experienced manager who will lead Technical Department. We offer an opportunity to get an experience in the most dynamic and challenging business sector - food retail.   • Monitoring the performance of the team members, tracking the project cost and the quality of the project documentation
  • Guiding, instructing and supporting employees in a target-oriented and motivating manner to fulfil the function-related tasks
  • Coordinating project plans with the management and defining restrictions
  • Guaranteeing the necessary project quality regarding the compliance with REWE International specifications
  • Maintenance of the project communication with the departments in the HQ, the project managers (civil engineering, building services, electrical engineering, etc.) and external partners
  • Processing the technical and commercial negotiations with the contract partners
  • Monitoring and continuous optimization of the budget and guaranteeing the keeping of the budget within the defined framework
  • Acting in an advisory, supporting, planning and contributing function for international projects and work groups in the frame of the business management

REQUIREMENTS

  • Leadership and team-working skills
  • Goal- and success-oriented
  • High organizational skills
  • Assertiveness, strong negotiation skills, conflict- and problem solving skills
    An open-minded personality, innovative, pro-active, sociable
  • Completed technical university education (focus on constructional engineering)
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in a similar position
