What You Will Do:

•  Embed strong risk culture within COO division; ensuring robust and consistent 1st line execution of governance, risk and compliance practices aligned with Luminor risk culture KPIs and risk appetite
•  Primary accountability for ensuring good collaboration, open and transparent communications between COO division and key stakeholders on governance, risk and compliance topics
• Proactive monitoring and analysis of external regulations, in consultation with compliance, legal and domain SMEs
• Oversight and coordination of COO activities to ensure that the COO division follows applicable external regulations, and timely remediation of relevant gaps or deficiencies
• Ensure the Risk and Governance department provides appropriate consultancy, advice, support as well as constructive challenge, follow-up and escalation ensure progress is made on audit/compliance findings remediation and risk treatment plans
• Ensure effective execution of Third-Party Management process and procedure, upholding the Third-Party Risk Management Framework and collaborating with Operational Risk Management to maintain and evolve the TPRM framework as needed

What We Expect: 

• Previous managerial experience of at least 3 years
• Experience in similar roles of at least 5 years
• Experience in Financial Services environments, ideally in banking
• Experience of 3 lines of defense operating model 
• Proficient in applying concepts and key principles of operational IT risk management frameworks, and related risks as a 1st line function 
• Experience in developing, embedding and maintaining governance, risk and compliance operating models and frameworks
