Job description:
Workday Configuration & Administration:
- Partner with the HR Technology Team on the configuration, enhancement, and maintenance of Workday modules, including HCM Core, Security, Performance Management, Goals, Recruitment, Absence, and Compensation.
- Analyze and recommend improvements to existing business processes and system configurations to enhance efficiency, automate processes, and improve the user experience.
- Administer Workday security configurations, including creating and managing security groups, user-based security, and domain security policies to ensure appropriate data access and confidentiality.
- Act as the technical lead for Workday projects, including semi-annual releases, new feature adoption, and system enhancements.
Tier 1, 2, & 3 Support & Ticket Management
- Manage all BMI Workday-related tickets raised in ServiceNow in a timely and efficient manner, adhering to established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Triage, investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex user and system issues, maintaining clear and consistent communication with end-users throughout the process.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for the BMI HR function on all Workday system-related inquiries.
Reporting & Analytics
- Design, develop, and maintain a variety of complex custom reports, dashboards, and calculated fields to support business needs and provide actionable insights.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the Workday system through regular audits and governance.
Collaboration & Documentation
- Partner with HR Business Partners, Global Process Owners, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective Workday solutions.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation, user guides, and training materials.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on configuration experience with Workday.
- Demonstrated expertise and in-depth knowledge in 3 of the 7 following Workday modules (HCM a must):Human Capital Management (HCM); Performance Management; Recruitment; Onboarding; Absence Management; Advanced and Core Compensation; Custom Reporting (Advanced, Matrix, Composite, Dashboards, etc.)
- Fluent in English
- Strong understanding of HR principles, processes, and data.
- Strong understanding of GDPR rules and regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
