We are currently seeking for a colleague, who would join Ignitis Renewables Lithuania team and take one of the leading role of our O&M department. You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:
- Directing asset operations in Lithuania, including management of internal teams and service providers, and building a high-performing team
- Developing and implementing the operation and maintenance strategy for renewable energy plants and assets in Lithuania
- Utilizing internal and external competencies in Ignitis Renewables to ensure safe, efficient and high-quality performance of complex renewable energy projects in Lithuania
- Being accountable for achieving production and availability budget for renewable energy project in Lithuania
- Identifying and providing solutions to increase profitability
- Maintaining schedules of all necessary maintenance works for wind technology projects in Lithuania
- Overseeing smooth handover from construction to operations
- Reporting on performance, challenges, opportunities and collaborating across departments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or similar field
- At least 3 years of experience in power plant operations and maintenance (preferred) or in construction or industrial environments
- At least 3 years of leadership experience including line management of other professionals
- Experience in management of renewable energy technology and balance of plant service providers
- A good knowledge of regulatory requirement and other related legal acts
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, service providers, and internal experts
- Strong ownership of production, availability targets, and operational outcomes
- Skills in MS Office Suite and knowledge of SCADA systems
- Valid driving license
- Fluent English and Lithuanian language skills.
