DATA ANALYST (F/M/D) | IGNITIS RENEWABLES
Job Description
We are looking for a Data Analyst to join the Operations and Maintenance department at Ignitis Renewables. You will play a key role in quantifying asset performance and identifying trends to ensure responsible ownership. You’ll collaborate closely with Asset Supervisors, using Python and SQL to transform data into reliable dashboards and statistical analyses. You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:
- Using data to solve complex problems and find ways to improve asset performance, even when working with uncertain information
- Writing and maintaining the code and tools (using Python, SQL) that keep our data workflows organized and reliable
- Monitoring operational data to identify trends, detect anomalies, and highlight potential issues or opportunities related to asset performance
- Contributing to the team’s roadmap and analytical priorities by providing insights that support operational decision-making and long-term performance optimization
- Presenting analytical findings clearly through dashboards, reports, and discussions with stakeholders to support data-informed decisions
- Documenting analytical workflows, datasets, dashboards, and coding standards to ensure transparency, reproducibility, and knowledge sharing within the team
Qualifications
- A degree in a technical field such as data analytics, engineering, mathematics, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience working in a data-driven environment
- 2–5 years of experience in data analytics, delivering dashboards, reports, and analyses that support operational or business decision-making
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data cleaning, statistical analysis, and extracting insights from complex datasets
- Practical experience with version control tools such as Git and GitLab to maintain organized, reproducible, and auditable code
- Experience building and maintaining Power BI dashboards connected to SQL databases to support operational and ad-hoc reporting
- Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Teams for coordinating work and documenting analytical outputs
- High proficiency in English to clearly communicate analytical findings, write reports, and collaborate with international stakeholders
- Ability to work independently on recurring analytical tasks while applying statistical reasoning and creativity to solve new or complex problems
