Job description:

Define the overall architecture for the bank’s technology landscape;
Decide which parts should be built in-house and which should come from vendors;
Set standards for how systems connect through APIs and events;
Make sure customer-facing products are not tightly tied to any one vendor;
Help reduce vendor lock-in by introducing clean system boundaries;
Support cloud architecture decisions with a focus on cost, flexibility, and long-term sustainability;
Plan for future infrastructure options, including hybrid or private cloud if needed;
Work with internal teams and external partners to make the ecosystem work as one platform.

10+ years of experience in architecture roles;
Strong experience with cloud-native systems, APIs, and complex integrations;
Good judgment on build vs buy decisions;
Experience working in multi-vendor environments;
Strong understanding of system design, scalability, resilience, and cost;
Experience in regulated industries such as banking, fintech, payments, or insurance;
Able to balance long-term thinking with practical delivery;
Comfortable working across both technical and business discussions.
