ENVIRONMENTAL COORDINATOR (F/M/D)

You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:

• Ensuring Ignitis environmental compliance with EU, national, local laws, and internal standards across Baltics, Poland and Finland
• Implementing and maintaining environmental management systems (e.g., ISO 14001)
• Identifying, assessing, and mitigating environmental risks across operations
• Providing guidance on environmental permits, regulations, and supporting operational and project teams
• Monitoring compliance in areas such as air, water, waste, hazardous materials, and pollution prevention
• Conducting environmental audits and oversee corrective and preventive actions
• Preparing environmental reports, managing environmental taxes, and monitoring key performance indicators
• Managing environmental incidents, coordinating contractors and service providers, and driving continuous improvement

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of environmental experience in industrial, energy, or similar sectors
• Knowledge of environmental legislation, permitting, and compliance processes
• Experience with environmental audits, monitoring, reporting, and documentation
• Familiarity with environmental management systems (e.g., ISO 14001) preferred
• Strong communication skills in Lithuanian and English
• Proactive, collaborative, and detail-oriented with good digital literacy (MS Office/365)
• Valid driving licence (Category B)
