Business Analyst in Risk Tribe
Area
Do you want to work in an area that has high priority and interfaces throughout Danske Bank? Are you eager to learn and develop yourself? If yes, we have an exciting opportunity to join the Risk Tribe.
Be part of building the future! Risk is at the core of everything we do as a bank. We are motivated to transform the way we handle risks, and this is your opportunity to make a difference and develop yourself both personally and professionally.
You will join the Risk Tribe, where business and IT professionals work in cross-functional teams that enable us to work in a truly agile organization. The teams are self-organized and empowered to make their own decisions while working on the end-to-end delivery of products and services.
You will be a member of a team that is responsible for the systems that support Danske Bank’s Compliance function. The team owns some complex systems that have a great strategic focus internally at Danske Bank and with the regulatory authorities in the different countries where Danske Bank is operating.
Starting out, as part of your onboarding, you will get an introduction to the team, your tasks, your primary stakeholders, and our department. Your first task will be familiarizing yourself with our business model and the responsibilities within your designated business area. In the longer term, you will play a significant role in developing our future compliance and risk management solutions and become responsible for requirement gathering in line with stakeholders’ strategies. In other words, you will have an important role in defining best-in-class compliance and risk management for your designated area. As you grow in the role, you will be able to maintain and share a solid understanding of our compliance and risk framework, including a holistic view from a business perspective to provide timely risk insights to our business and main stakeholders.
As a Business Analyst, you will assist in the dialogue between multiple stakeholders and the IT developers. You contribute to translating business needs into requirements, which contributes to improving internal processes and business performance – e.g., you work closely with stakeholders to identify areas of non-compliance, investigate potential issues, develop solutions for compliance challenges and provide guidance. Your responsibilities also include reporting on findings, advising management on changes needed to maintain compliance standards, monitoring progress towards meeting those standards, and implementing corrective actions as required. You will be the glue between business and IT developers in and outside the department and collaborate naturally across teams and geographical locations.
You will become part of the Business Analysts Chapter, a community of highly skilled business analysts who share the same enthusiasm for making a difference and ensuring that each solution has the required quality. The Chapter promotes continuous learning and knowledge sharing and ensures that best practices are spread across the whole tribe.
