Kafka Infrastructure Architect

The Integration & Adoption Tribe is responsible for the platform that support different domains and domains on different platforms communicate with each other.
The Infrastructure Architect will design solutions that cater to immediate business and development needs and requirements while also providing strategic architectural direction and roadmaps. The incumbent will ensure that the infrastructure architecture is consistently updated to align with published best practices. The role supports architectural governance to ensure the realization of strategic direction, stable operations, and high availability.
You will be working with a cross functional squad that are responsible for building the enterprise offering, and with a chapter where you together with peers where you will grow your potential and share your ideas on other projects in the tribe.
Mission
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure that the infrastructure meets development and operational needs
- Perform infrastructure architecture design and reviews, providing guidance for small to medium-sized initiatives
- Ensure that infrastructure evolves to support the needs of development and business units
- Lead small to medium-sized architectural initiatives
- Keep the infrastructure architecture continuously updated to match published best practices
- Identify and evaluate potential improvements in existing processes and solutions
Skills
- 3 years+ experience in a similar role with a solid understanding of architectural development practices and tools
- Strong understanding of API and data exchange/integration technologies
- Knowledge of message streaming platforms like KAFKA
- Familiarity with AWS, with AWS architecture certification, is highly desirable
- Knowledge of IT security standards and best practices is advantageous
- Strong drive for exploration, with the ability to document findings for communication to stakeholders
- Goal and customer oriented approach with the ability to work efficiently, structure tasks, communicate and prioritize effectively, and execute smoothly
- Upper-Intermediate English skills, both written and spoken

We will ensure that exact salary offered for you will be based on your qualifications, competencies, professional experience and requirements for the corresponding job function (salary range from 5320 EUR to 7980 EUR gross EUR/monthly).
Your title in job contract will be IT Infrastructure Architect, Senior.
