NAPA Specialist in Group Non-Financial Risk



We are expanding and strengthening the ‘Framework and Policies’ team within Group Non-Financial Risk in the second line of defense (“2LoD”) function.

A key area of responsibility in the team is the oversight of the risk exposure related to developing and amending products in the bank. Your role is dynamic and an integrated part of Group Non-Financial Risk (GNFR) department. In the Frameworks and Policies team we design and develop risk frameworks and policies that sets the risk management standards for the Group. As a financial institution in a changing environment, we face a range of both external and internal risks. Being compliant and managing risk is our core business.

You will join a team of dedicated specialists who are passionate about risk management, governance and pride themselves in working in a “centre-of-excellence” team.

Enter a role, where you hold the responsibility for driving the ongoing development and design of the ‘New and Amended Product Policy’ and alignment with corresponding instructions and templates from a second line of defense perspective.

  • Develope and maintain the Group’s New and Amended Product Approval Policy (NAPA) and approach including formalised risk reporting
  • Manage and overseeing the successful delivery of the product approval policy and governance of product approvals from a second line of defense perspective.
  • Work in close collaboration with technology operations, business units, security, privacy, compliance risk and legal teams
  • Support and advising other business units and risk functions on controls, risk and governance practices concerning product approval
  • Evaluate the product approval practices and benchmarking the risk management practices
  • Challenge the set-up and ensure continuous improvements of our risk management framework with a focus on non-financial risk and product approval
  • Improve the risk practices in the bank by challenging the way of working


We expect you to have experience and a proven track record within the non-financial risk management area with solid knowledge of the 2nd LoD function role. You take pride in going that extra mile when solving your tasks and you are a team player with a clear sense of responsibility. You possess strong stakeholder management skills and can communicate at all levels of the organisation.

It will be vital for your success, that you understand regulatory requirements and have an interest in mastering e.g. EBA Guidelines, The executive order of management and control of banks and can transform these into Group policies as well as understand the roles and responsibility of 1st, 2nd and 3rd line.

As a person, you are adaptive and appreciates working in a changing regulatory landscape, an organisation in development and a challenging risk landscape.

Your background:

  • Relevant university degree or equivalent, e.g. within law, Security and Technology domains
  • Risk management experience from a large international organisation (e.g. big four consultancy firms or financial institutions)
  • 5+ years’ experience in similar role as a lead. Alternatively a relevant role providing you with solid understanding and insights.
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written

We will ensure that exact salary offered for you will be based on your qualifications, competencies, professional experience and requirements for the corresponding job function (salary range from 3760 EUR to 5640 EUR gross EUR/monthly).

Your title in job contract will be Specialist, Risk - Chief.
