We invite you to be a part of the collaborative Global Insights department, an integral component of our Group Data and Analytics organization. Our mission is to deliver impactful insights and advanced digital reporting solutions in a timely manner and using analytics to set new standards in the bank for how to use data. We’re the backbone for teams and organisational units across the Bank, providing crucial process performance analytics and managerial information.

Our department in the Data & Analytics function works with each of the businesses to enable the adoption of data and utilize analytics to enhance our products and services to our clients.

The workplace is located in new buildings in Vilnius. Danske Bank supports a high degree of workplace flexibility (we currently use a hybrid work model, where we work at least 3 days in the office).

Mission

  • Together with the rest of the management team, set the strategic direction and priorities of the department, especially with regard to IT service management and the technical roadmap
  • Represent the department’s interests in the wider organization, incl. higher management, data owners, operating partners and stakeholders, company-wide projects and initiatives where Global Insights is involved, etc.
  • Take ownership of all things related to owning and managing an IT service at Danske Bank (IT risk management, vulnerabilities management, ServiceNow tickets/incidents, compliance/security requirements, TTNT agenda, etc.)
  • Coordinate financials (obtain approvals, etc.) with respect to team matters
  • Engage with the individuals in the team in personal and team meetings to:
    • communicate important decisions, departments priorities
    • agree on individual goals and evaluate performance against those goals
    • guide and enable individual development priorities
  • Hire new team members according to departmental needs
  • Organize social team and department events

Skills

Solid and proven experience in:

  • Leading business and technical team of 7 members, coordinating projects
  • Developing and driving organization-level initiatives, operating models, and coordinating efforts between different teams across the organization
  • Business and technical stakeholder management skills
  • Good prioritization skills, ensuring key deliverables
  • Diplomatic, communication, presentation skills
  • Can-do attitude and flexibility to achieve the best feasible result in a busy and fast-changing environment
  • Good understanding of Agile ways of working, iterative approach, operational and DevOps principles
  • Experience in how to work in a cloud environment on a conceptual, architectural and operational level will be highly valued
  • Fluency in English (advanced skills), both verbal and written communication
