As a Team Lead in Hardware and Telco IT Procurement, you will be responsible for supervising the team of 10 procurement professionals located in Vilnius, Lithuania. Your role involves coordinating the internal needs for purchasing support, which includes hardware, telecommunications, and network systems, alongside software, IT services, and SaaS procurement in a highly regulated financial sector. Sourcing process covers Danske Bank‘s group demands.

You will have an opportunity to shape Danske Bank IT procurement function, promote it across the Bank by fostering engaging and motivating working environment.

You will be reporting to the Head of Strategic Sourcing of Danske Bank.

N.B. the position requires to be able to work on-site in our Vilnius office.

Mission

  • Lead Hardware and Telco Procurement team
  • Set team goals, conduct individual performance appraisals, mentor and coach the team
  • Cascade procurement and premises strategy to teams, ensuring clear understanding and importance of achieving goals and KPIs
  • Oversee IT procurement project pipeline and support the team on their key projects
  • Strive for process quality and constantly refine / enhance the procurement services and how they are delivered to meet the evolving needs of the business
  • Maintain the relationship with procurement stakeholders by promoting procurement value recognition
  • Support implementation of procurement tools and processes
  • Act as an individual contributor on some of the bigger procurement projects

Skills

  • 5+ years of similar experience with a track-record of supervising people, teams, processes, complex projects (experience with indirect procurement, IT sourcing, IT contract area or the management of big IT (services) suppliers is beneficial)
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Good understanding of indirect procurement process, roles and responsibilities
  • Demonstrated familiarity with the international IT supplier market, especially within the domain of infrastructure and enterprise tech solutions, and ongoing commitment to improve cost optimization
  • Solid communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Advanced negotiation skills and contract language knowledge
  • Analytical, result-oriented, able to prioritize projects and solve complex problems
  • Advanced English skills

We will ensure that exact salary offered for you will be based on your qualifications, competencies, professional experience and requirements for the corresponding job function (salary range from 3920 EUR to 5880 EUR gross EUR/monthly).
