Head of IT Workplace & Collaboration

Own the global strategy, roadmap, and operations of the Workplace & Collaboration platform, delivering a secure, scalable, and high-quality end-user experience across all locations. Accountable for Microsoft 365, endpoint management, collaboration tools, office technology, vendors, and platform economics.

Responsibilities:

• Define and execute the global Workplace & Collaboration strategy and roadmap
• Own end-to-end platform lifecycle: design, delivery, operations, and continuous improvement
• Lead and develop a cross-functional IT team (SMEs, architects, service managers)
• Ensure security-by-design, compliance, and alignment with enterprise architecture
• Act as the global IT owner for workplace technologies and collaboration platforms
• Manage budget (Opex/Capex), licensing, vendors, and contracts
• Translate business needs into scalable, IT-enabled workplace solutions
• Define and track KPIs for performance, adoption, cost, and user satisfaction

Technology scope

• Microsoft 365 tenant & governance (Teams, Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Telephony)
• Endpoint, OS, and application lifecycle management (Intune, Autopilot, SCCM)
• Identity, access, and device security
• Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
• Hardware standards & lifecycle (e.g. HP, Dell)
• Printing & document services (e.g. Ricoh or equivalent)
• Meeting rooms, AV solutions, digital signage
• License management and optimization

• 8+ years in IT, including senior ownership of workplace / collaboration platforms in a global environment
• Strong hands-on experience with M365 and endpoint management
• Proven people leadership in a matrix organization
• Experience owning strategy, roadmap, delivery, and operations
• Solid background in budgeting, vendor management, and cost optimization
• Comfortable working in agile / product-oriented IT models
