Head of Product (R&D)

• Define the product vision for retail and SME banking from scratch;
• Own the roadmap, including what to launch first, what to delay, and how to phase delivery over time;
• Lead the creation of a proprietary digital banking experience focused on simplicity, trust, and usability;
• Design customer journeys across onboarding, everyday banking, payments, cards, support, and value-added services;
• Identify product opportunities relevant to European and local market needs, such as digital identity integrations, tax tools, and wealth features;
• Work closely with the IT team to turn product vision into a practical delivery plan;
• Establish strong ways of working across design, engineering, compliance, operations, and leadership;
• Balance customer experience goals with the needs of a regulated European bank;
• Drive decisions on MVP scope, roadmap trade-offs, and long-term product direction;
• Define and track success metrics across acquisition, activation, usage, retention, and customer value.

• 7+ years of product leadership experience in a high-growth fintech, neobank, or similar digital financial services environment;
• Proven experience building and scaling a digital product from 0 to millions of users;
• Strong zero-to-one product capability and comfort working in ambiguous environments;
• Strong product instinct and customer experience judgment;
• Experience shipping regulated financial products, including PSD2, Strong Customer Authentication, KYC flows, App Store releases, and incident management;
• Ability to work effectively with engineering teams to build products from scratch;
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align vision across business, compliance, risk, operations, and technology;
• Excellent prioritization and strategic thinking;
• Strong communication and executive-level presentation skills.
