Implementation Engineer

In this role, you will be responsible for transforming complex utility and geospatial datasets into high-accuracy digital twin models of electricity networks. You will work with LiDAR, GIS, and asset datasets while configuring models using Neara’s schema language and ensuring engineering-grade precision. You will be part of the Deployment Team delivering the Neara platform to utility clients worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the end-to-end deployment of the Neara platform for utility customers globally.
• Ingest and process large datasets including LiDAR, GIS, and asset databases using Neara’s schema language and configuration tools.
• Perform rigorous QA/QC processes to ensure the digital twin models accurately reflect real-world infrastructure and physics.
• Build reports and dashboards within the platform to provide insights for utility engineers.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to improve deployment processes and platform capabilities.

• Experience in roles such as Data Engineer, Implementation Engineer, Integration Engineer, Software Engineer, or similar.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as SQL, Python, or similar, with the ability to quickly learn new languages or schema frameworks.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex data discrepancies and ensure model accuracy.
• Excellent written communication skills and ability to clearly document technical configurations in fluent English.
• Background in engineering, mathematics, computer science, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience with GIS, CAD geoprocessing, or LiDAR datasets would be considered an advantage.
