Information Security Engineer

• Collaborate with system administrators, the compliance manager, and external service providers to plan and execute daily tasks;
• Grant, modify, and revoke access rights in accordance with the principles of least privilege and need-to-know;
• Install, configure, and administer servers, applications, network infrastructure, and equipment; involve system administrators when necessary;
• Monitor systems and promptly inform the direct manager, system administrators, and the compliance manager of identified issues or deficiencies; participate in their resolution within the scope of competence;
• Maintain the information security asset register;
• Use professional terminology in both the national language and English; apply industry-recognized governance models and principles;
• Select appropriate and proportionate measures to accomplish assigned tasks;
• Comply with occupational safety, fire safety, and civil protection requirements, as well as professional ethics standards;
• Perform other lawful tasks directly related to the position, as assigned by the direct manager or the company’s management board.

• Higher education (completed or in progress) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field;
• At least 3 years of experience in information security or a related field;
• Excellent Lithuanian and English language skills; knowledge of additional foreign languages will be considered an advantage;
• Commitment to continuous professional development and staying up to date with industry trends;
• In-depth knowledge of information security standards: ISO/IEC 27001 and PCI DSS;
• Practical experience in implementing, configuring, and developing SIEM solutions (preferably Wazuh);
• Experience in vulnerability management using Tenable Nessus (or equivalent solutions);
• Hands-on experience with security tools and technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, etc.);
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; systematic approach to documentation and evidence collection.

• Internationally recognized IT security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, OSCP, or equivalent.
