• Nice to Have:
• German language speaker
• Strong UX/UI CSS design skills
• Experience working with Rest APIs
• Knowledge of JS front-end frameworks such as Reach, Vue, etc.
• Experience migrating old code to newer technologies
• Experience in digital transformation
• Experience with Docker or any other containerization tool
• Experience with Observability tools like the Elasticsearch stack, Datadog, or similar
• Experience with Quality Assurance tools like SonarQube, JUnit, or similar

• Due to the nature of our company, the tasks vary depending on the time of year
• Some of these are:
• Oversee the launch of our ticketing system during the sales period
• Develop tools and web apps to help our customer service team
• Perform updates on our WordPress-based sites
• Making sure our VPS is up and running smoothly
• Note
• There will be a small amount of customer service required at the very beginning to learn how our online booking system works. This will be important for the programming.

Requirements:

• Computer Science Degree or equivalent work experience
• Excellent problem solving skills
• 4+ years’ experience in web development
• 4+ years’ experience with backend technologies (PHP, NodeJS, etc)
• 4+ Solid Knowledge of PHP and WordPress development
• 4+ years’ experience in Frontend Development (HTML, CSS, Javascript, jQuery)
• 3-4 years’ experience in VPS or Cloud management, web hosting, and maintenance
• 3+ Experience working with Relational Database systems such as MySQL, MongoDB, or others
• Be able to maintain and improve existing codebase
• Experience working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector
• Hold a valid Passport without restrictions
• Be able to enter the United States and travel internationally
