Our team of 15 highly skilled professionals is responsible for every aspect of the service, from specifying new features to development, deployment, operations, and support. The service is currently deployed in Lithuania, Estonia, Finland, Sweden, and Norway.

Our core team is based in Norway, with plans for expansion into Lithuania. Telia Smart Connect is designed to be cloud-native, harnessing the power of public cloud to ensure rapid development and deployment.

As a Technical Testing Specialist at Telia Smart Connect, you will be a crucial part of our team, leveraging your technical expertise to ensure the functionality, reliability, and security of our solution through rigorous testing processes.

Your primary responsibilities will be to manage 3rd line support cases and aid development by testing and verifying functionality. You will work either independently or collaboratively with other technical specialists or developers. Your technical knowledge will be crucial in troubleshooting and resolving issues within our core telephony service, web applications, integrations, APIs, and native mobile apps.

Given the central role of telephony in Telia Smart Connect, a significant part of your work will involve testing and verification of call scenarios and call traces. This will be essential both for troubleshooting and new development.

In planning sessions, you will be a key contributor in the specification of new features, from both a technical perspective and in terms of test capacity planning.

Is this you?

As a Technical Testing Specialist:

  • You are expected to have high general technical understanding and an inherent curiosity about applications and unified communications solutions.

  • Your structured approach and quick learning ability are crucial in this role to effectively solve tasks.

  • You should have a passion for testing (manual and automated) and delivering quality work, even in a fast-paced environment that involves continuous development and deployments.

  • Your work style should be adaptable, enabling you to work well both independently and as part of a team.

  • A strong sense of responsibility is essential, along with a proactive approach to finding effective solutions and following up on tasks.

  • Understanding of code/coding or a technical background from the telecom industry will be a significant advantage.

  • If you have experience within the telecom industry or telecom technologies (SIP, RTP), and/or experience with security and penetration testing and tools it will further enhance your suitability for this role.
