MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

Engineering team is expanding, and we are looking for a professional MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER who, together with a highly qualified hardware team, would develop, test, and deploy ideas into next generation electro-optical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Detailed mechanical design work in 3D format, and documentation preparation in 2D format
• Design compliance to provided specification or use case scenario, industry standards
• Selection of mechanical parts considering obsolescence, availability, and cost
• Selection of the manufacturing method based on the application and required costs
• Assembly of prototype series and supervision of the design approval
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams to complete projects on time and to ensure that products are designed for efficient manufacturing
• Preparation of technical reports and documents, maintenance of accurate records
• Work in a team to provide a full design solution.

• Bachelor‘s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field,
• Experience in production, manufacturing, and testing of opto-mechanical systems,
• Proficiency in CAD software, such as SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor or Fusion 360,
• Strong technical skills and attention to detail,
• Good communication and collaboration skills,
• Knowledge of existing manufacturing techniques,
• Proactive attitude and sense of commitment.
