PRODUCT OWNER (F/M/D)
Job Description
We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the Finance and Accounting Systems team of the ESO, where you’ll be responsible for the development and implementation of the strategy for the systems developed by the team. If that speaks to you, we’d be happy to welcome you to our team!

You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:
- Shaping the vision, strategy, and long-term direction for the development of finance and accounting systems in line with the company’s objectives
- Analyzing market trends, technological innovations, and business needs to identify opportunities for system improvement
- Creating and maintaining the system development roadmap, setting priorities based on the highest value delivered to the business
- Managing, prioritizing, and continuously refining the backlog to maximize value, aligning priorities with key stakeholders
- Translating strategic objectives into detailed system requirements (user stories, epics, use cases) for the development team
- Monitoring and evaluating system performance against defined metrics (e.g., process efficiency, error reduction, level of automation)
- Collaborating with application development teams, other system owners, business process owners, and colleagues to identify optimal solutions
- Communicating system changes, progress, risks, and mitigation plans to stakeholders
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role
- Proven experience in successfully launching and managing complex IT systems
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions
- Ability to understand complex organizational processes and translate them into clear product requirements
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams, from Finance to I
Would be an advantage:
- Experience in developing financial, accounting, or ERP systems (e.g. Oracle, MS Dynamics, Navision, etc.)
- Knowledge of taxation, budgeting, or financial reporting processes
- Experience in team leadership or mentoring
