SAP CO Product Specialist

Role Overview:
As an SAP CO Product Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering controlling-related IT changes, enhancements and SAP S/4HANA rollout initiatives. You will act as a trusted partner to the business, ensuring robust, scalable and standardized controlling processes across the organization, supporting financial planning, reporting and decision-making.

Team / Context:
ERP Delivery Center supporting a global SAP S/4HANA environment across multiple business units and legal entities.

Responsibilities

• Translate business needs into functional SAP CO solutions
• Analyze and improve end-to-end controlling processes
• Configure and maintain SAP CO modules (Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis / Margin Analysis)
• Support financial planning, forecasting and cost control processes
• Contribute to SAP S/4HANA rollouts (fit-gap analysis, localization, template adoption)
• Ensure integration with other domains (e.g. Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Order to Cash, Purchase to Pay)
• Support incident resolution and provide expertise on complex controlling and profitability topics
• Prepare and execute testing (unit testing, UAT)
• Document configurations, processes and functional specifications
• Deliver end-user training and support adoption & change management
• Support controlling reporting, profitability analysis and cost transparency initiatives
• Drive standardization and continuous improvement of controlling processes
• Work within the IT Delivery governance (intake, prioritization, delivery follow-up)

Technical Skills

Must-have:

• SAP CO configuration (Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, CO-PA / Margin Analysis)
• Solid understanding of SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling
• Strong integration knowledge with FI and adjacent modules (MM, SD, PP)

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with S/4HANA Margin Analysis and actual costing
• Exposure to planning & forecasting tools (e.g. rolling forecast, BPC)
• Exposure to Fiori reporting and embedded analytics
• Familiarity with IT delivery frameworks (Agile, hybrid models)
